Paul McCartney OUT THERE Tour @東京ドーム　に行ってきた

もう来ないんじゃないかといわれてた中での2013年ツアーは仕事の都合がどうしてもつかず断念。
ちょうど１年くらい前の、国立競技場ライブもチケットは持っていたんですが例のキャンセル。

それこそ俺はもう会えないんじゃないか？なんて妄想もしていました。
今日もポールが出てくるまで半信半疑。

時間を少し押してスタート。
泣いちゃうかもと思ってましたが、それよりもポールが目の前にいることの衝撃と、
パフォーマンスの凄さ、どこを切っても名曲しか出てこないという圧倒的なセットリストの前には、
感極まる隙も無く、ただただ放心状態になるだけでした。

ポールは水も飲まず歌いっぱなし。その体力と集中力にはただただ驚くばかりですが、
なんといってもこの曲達はSomethingを除いて、すべてポールが関わってるんですよね。(諸説あります)

やはりお年を召した方が多かったですが、僕のような若者層も非常に多くて、
ただの懐古ライブではない、だれでも楽しめる最強のエンターテインメントとして成立しているあたりがポールのポールたる所以をがっつりと証明してました。
そしてライブ中の東京ドームは平和、やさしい世界そのもの。
誰もが知っている名曲を、みんな大声で歌う。それがどれだけ素晴らしいことか。

隣にいたおじいちゃんが「こうやって若い人もたくさん来てみんなで歌うことは素晴らしい。これからも歌い継いでほしい」
と話しかけてきました。それだけの力があるんですよねポールの曲には。

とりあえず、僕の人生の目標が今日ひとつ達成しました。
こんなにも幸せな空間にいれたこと、僕は誇りに思います。

次のライブはフジロックかなあ。楽しみだ。
